Gary Mitchell Lavergne and Laura Gwen Clayton

Gary Mitchell Lavergne is the son of Nolan Dale Lavergne and Helen "Bobbie" Richard. He was born in Church Point, Louisiana on October 28, 1955. Today, he is the retired Director of Admissions Research and Policy Analysis at The University of Texas at Austin. Laura Gwen Clayton is the daughter of Curtis Woodford Clayton and Eugenia Comeaux. She is now the retired Director of the Communications Team for the Admissions Office for UT Austin. They were married on September 4, 1976 and have four grown children. They live in Cedar Park, Texas.

From left to right -- Charlie, born 1978, served two hitches in the United States Air Force as a Korean Linguist. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in history. Today, Charlie works for the Texas Secretary of State. Mark, born 1981, is a graduate of  The University of Texas School of Communications and is now an Economist for the Texas Workforce Commission. Amy, born 1984, is a Journalism graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. She now works in the internal communications department of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. Anna, born in 1987, is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Classical Archeology. She is now a public school teacher in Houston, TX.
