Gary Mitchell Lavergne and Laura Gwen Clayton

Gary Mitchell Lavergne is the son of Nolan Dale Lavergne and Helen "Bobbie" Richard. He was born in Church Point, Louisiana on October 28, 1955. Today, he is the Director of Admissions Research and Policy Analysis at The University of Texas at Austin. Laura Gwen Clayton is the daughter of Curtis Woodford Clayton and Eugenia Comeaux. She is now a The Director of the Communications Team for the Admissions Office for UT Austin. They were married on September 4, 1976 and have four children. They live in Cedar Park, Texas.

From left to right -- Charlie, born 1978, served two hitches in the United States Air Force as a Korean Linguist. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in history. Mark, born 1981, is a graduate of  The University of Texas School of Communications and is now a reporter for the Lone Star Report. Amy, born 1984, is a Journalism graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. She now works in corporate communications for Golfsmith in Austin, TX. Anna, born in 1987, is a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Classical Archeology. She is now working on certifying to teach in Texas.
